DESCRIPTION:Join us\, share your story\, and help power the future at APEX 2026!\nAPEX is a conference for graduate engineers\, of any discipline\, in the power engineering industry and a great opportunity to share experiences while learning from the presentations of others. \nNetworking at events such as the APEX summit is an excellent way to start relationships and gain exposure to industry. \nAPEX is now also a must-attend for students willing to meet and get useful advice from graduates\, or simply to hear about some fantastic projects and understand the electricity industry. \nThis years Annual Power Engineering Exchange [APEX] Summit 2026 is being held on Tuesday 10th November and will take place at Shed 6\, 12 Queens Wharf\, Wellington. \nCALL FOR ABSTRACTS – OPEN \nAbstracts to be submitted to admin@eea.co.nz by Friday 2nd October. \n\nAbstract submission (200 word) word document\nBio note (<100 words): word document\nPhotograph: .jpg format and passport size\nThe notification of acceptance will be by Monday 12th October.\n\nTHE THEME:  Power with Purpose\nAt APEX 2026 we invite you to share your collective knowledge and experience on how you are working to deliver more sustainable\, customer-centric energy solutions\, and resilient infrastructure while continuing to deliver a safe\, reliable\, and secure electricity supply to our communities and businesses. \nPossible topics are shown below to help in your consideration—noting that it is not an exclusive list so please offer other presentations if you wish. \nTopics could include: \n\nConsumer/Community engagement in energy transition\nEmerging technologies and flexibility\nSustainability and environmental excellence\nSystem Integration and Big Data impacts\nAsset engineering – management\, optimisation\, and integration\nEnabling distributed energy resources (DER)\nAsset management\, climate change\, resilience\, and future asset planning\nArtificial intelligence\, automation\, digitisation\, and communication\n\nAPEX 2026 – Call for Papers Flyer \nRegistration\nThere is no charge to attend but registration is required.
