EEA2016 : Shaping the Future : 22-24 June 2016, TSB Arena & Shed 6 Complex, Wellington

The EEA Executive Committee and team would like to thank all delegates, exhibitors, paper presenters and sponsors for their contribution in making this year’s conference a success.

Special thanks to our internationally keynote speakers from IET (Eric Brown), IEEE (PES) (Jonathan Sykes), CIGRE (Phil Southwell), ENA (Australia) (Dr Stuart Johnson) and ISSA (Germany) (Dr Jens Jühling), plus our New Zealand keynote (Greg Skelton, CEO Wellington Electricity). We have some challenges ahead and the paper programme was full of knowledgeable and well presented technical papers.

The Trade Exhibition was a hive of activity over the two and a half days with 120 stands and plenty of opportunities for delegates and visitors to engage with leading industry equipment and service suppliers, contractors, consultants and other industry stakeholders.

There was something valuable for everyone from young engineers to old hands, from generators and distributors to contractors and technical specialists. The event also recognised excellence in the industry with Awards in safety, engineering, professional development and our University Scholarships.

Over 1,000 delegates and exhibitors attended our event in the heart of Wellington’s waterfront.

We are back there on 21 - 23 June 2017 and will be sending out details for exhibitors and sponsors shortly.

Thanks for helping to make our 2016 Conference the most successful to date and we look forward you joining us again in 2017.
