The ESI Trainers Forum brings together trainers from across New Zealand’s electricity supply industry to strengthen training practice and support better learning outcomes. Over two days, participants will explore learner-centred training, mentoring, communication, and assessment approaches that help learners succeed in technical environments.

Overview

The ESI Trainers Forum brings together trainers from across New Zealand’s electricity supply industry to share ideas, strengthen training practice, and support better learning outcomes.

This two-day forum focuses on the skills trainers need to help learners succeed in technical training environments. The programme explores how mentoring, communication, and learner-centred approaches can improve safety, competence, and workforce capability across the sector.

The forum is designed for trainers, assessors, training managers, and others involved in workforce development in the electricity supply industry.

Participants will hear from experienced practitioners, take part in practical workshops, and contribute to discussions that will help shape future trainer development across the industry.
