    Hello everyone,

    I hope you’re well.

I’m currently working at Omexom as the QSEI Manager, and we are in the process of reviewing our procedures to ensure they effectively address Critical Health and Safety Risks and control measures with the right methodology.

To support this, I’m reaching out to ask if anyone would be willing to share examples of your Health and Safety procedures. We’re keen to understand what good practice looks like and how others structure their documents. We’re especially interested in seeing how others document and structure risk identification, assessment, and controls.

If you’re happy to share, please email your procedures to:
    Soujanya.kavili@omexom.co.nz

Any feedback, thoughts, or resources you can share would be highly appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Sue Kavili
    QSEI Manager
    Omexom New Zealand

Hi Sue, before you look at procedures, does your HSE management system have specific standards or guidelines associated with operational planning and control for your identified high-risk activities? Have you considered Fatigue or psychosocial risk factors as high-risk factors?

When reviewing procedures, it’s a good idea to get stakeholders involved at an early stage, as end user input and feedback is essential.

    Regards, Stuart
