    Hi Matt,

    It depends on what context you are talking about.

    If you are meaning just switching itself not as part of a job, we went down the road of a “Take 5” but found it was fine for urban areas where the sites are very similar but was a bit too generic for anything rural.

    For planned works we now have a task specific Electrical Isolation risk assessment.

    For unplanned works we now have a specific Fault Response risk assessment which includes everything from leaving home to getting back home and can be amended as and when needed as you may start out just going to isolate a line/cable but end up doing a bit more. It has a few more prompts than the day-to-day form as the time of day and conditions are usually not ideal so it helps remind teams of what they should be taking into consideration.
