    Hi Brian,

We don’t use arc flash visors for any aerial work currently.

We have a mixture of visor options including the balagoggle (45cal so it covers Cat 2 & 4) https://www.jaedon.co.nz/Electrical-Contractors/Electrical-PPE/Balagoggles-50-cal/ and are trialling a new visor and hood option https://electricalfactory.com.au/product/arcsafe-x50-arc-flash-lift-front-switching-hood/ which fits over the climbing helmets (we use the Zero non-vented Vertex)

We have had issues with sourcing Salisbury Cat 2 visors, they have taken up to 5 months to arrive from the USA so options closer to home would be great.

Haven’t had any experience with the Safeworx option. Side protection is not a consideration for us at this stage hence why we use the balagoggle with no helmet in ground situations. If there is no overhead hazard, why wear a hard hat…as long as it’s documented as such.
