Roles available at Alpine Energy

Faultman

We have an opportunity for an experienced Faultman to join our Faults team providing routine and on call response to events, crises and emergencies in the Alpine Network.

Asset Lifecycle Engineer

Working effectively within the Network team with a specific focus on asset reliability, lifecycle, strategy and maintenance to ensure effective, safe and optimal use of all assets in providing reliable electricity to all Alpine’s customers. You will be confident in providing leadership, support and guidance in these areas.

Civil Works Labourer

As a Civil Works Labourer you will play a key role in creating access and laying underground cabling, operating machinery, and ensuring all construction activities adhere to safety regulations. Working individually or as part of a team, you will contribute to efficient and effective project completion.. You will ensure that all work aligns with company policies and legal requirements, particularly the Electricity Act and the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the safety and functionality of our facilities while enhancing service delivery to our clients.

Cable Jointer

In this crucial position, you will handle the installation, replacement, and repair of underground distribution assets. You should be comfortable working with jointing and terminating distribution assets up to 22kV, as this is a demanding and physically intensive role. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for testing and commissioning 400V distribution installations, so a strong adherence to best practices in health and safety is essential.
