We are looking to establish the facts around working on the Point of Entry on the customer’s installation. The question around the limits of work and how this ties into the ERS 2010 r6A.

As per the EWRB illustration Distribution Line Mechanics can work up to the distribution-side of the POE. This could/would be considered mains work, so it can be seen as high risk?

    To summarise:

Is working on the POE main work?

When a Distribution Line Mechanic works on the POE would this then require a POE?

When replacing the POE is this considered mains work?

Does anyone have documents they are willing to share related to completing ESC on completion of work in relation to customer installations?

    Thanks
