    Hi Team

We are considering our options of HSMS we are currently using Damstra but are having some issues with the level of support and functionality, we are interested to hear what other EDBs are using in this space. Ideally we are looking for a system that will provide good app based functionality for the field operatives and good critical risk insight for the ELT and Board. Regards

Hi. We currently also use Damstra but are planning to migrate to Assura. I’m not sure of our timeframe.

Here at Aurora, we dropped Damstra over 2 years ago for the same reasons and went to a SharePoint/Power BI solution as an interim. We have just bought a system called CAMMS. This is an enterprise Risk Management system that includes incident management. We are currently in the process of configuring to our requirements. The support so far has been excellent.

Hi Sonya, Poweco use IMPACs Safety/Risk Manager. It has an app and is reletively easy to use for input. We have a data analyst that work in the system a lot, pulls some fab data from it but she would be best to talk to about its functionality: elizabeth.chisholm@powerco.co.nz

    Hi Sonya,

MainPower is dropping Damstra for similar reasons and is transitioning to Donesafe.

    Regards

WEL Networks is in the throes of choosing some software to support our HSMS, I’ll let you know how we get on. I’m reassured by this feedback that a decision to avoid Damstra was the right one

We use Damstra and while in the early days I had a few challenges, in the last couple of years I’ve had no significant issues with it. Good field apps with Notify and Check and the team are really comfortable with these, also highly configurable, and I’ve now got my head around the BI tool for reporting and getting some good high-level graphs for Board and SLT reports.

I’ve used a bunch of other systems in other companies but have found this one to be the best. I’ve also found their support quite good; they seem to deal with small issues quite quickly. Sounds like from other responses I’ve been quite lucky!

Not currently looking at other systems, but always keen to see what others are doing in case something changes.

    Cheers
