    Hi all,

We are about to undertake a review of our Network Safety Induction course material and associated Work Type Competencies. We’re just wondering what others are doing in this space and if you’re happy to share, we’d really like to see what your Network Safety Induction covers, whether it’s online or face-to-face, how long it takes, and any key content.

We’re also curious about how you structure your Work Type Competencies — we currently use WTC-1A for admin/non-operational staff, WTC-1B for work outside Minimum Approach Distances (NZ: ECP 34), and WTC-1C for work up to the Minimum Approach Distances. Any examples or insights would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks Jen

    Hi Jen

If you can send me an email with your contact details (dweston@powernet.co.nz) I can share what we have been working on with you.

    Thanks

    Darren

    Hi Jen,

Regarding the Work Type Competencies, have you looked into the Common Competency Framework, which has been developed by industry to get consistency across network companies? it is available here Common Competency Framework – eea.co.nz.

Please reach out again if you would like more information on it
