New ELAM/BELAM National Framework Guideline Published
We are pleased to announce the publication of the Export Limit Assessment Methodology (ELAM) and Bespoke Export Limit Assessment Methodology (BELAM) National Framework Guide.
Developed jointly with the Electricity Authority, the Guide supports implementation of the Authority’s export-limit reforms by providing a consistent national engineering framework for assessing distributed generation export capability. It is designed to promote transparent, evidence-based, and repeatable export limit assessments while allowing appropriate flexibility for network-specific conditions and retaining each EDB’s engineering accountability.
The Guideline is available via the EEA website.
