A thriving energy sector workforce is critical to Aotearoa’s energy transition. As the representative for that workforce, the EEA already has a tremendous legacy of quality, trust, independence, and pan-industry representation.
What we deliver is uniquely “by industry for industry”, and as the industry transforms around us, we also need to evolve while retaining the respect and influence we have built to date.
In 2024, we surveyed members and some non-members to find out what we should be focusing on now and in the future. This valuable feedback informed a new purpose statement and strategy.
