EPZ

I’m interested in what other companies are practicing when the concrete poles do not have an integral earth stud to achieve EPZ in the work zone particularly using insulation practices when working from ladders.

I’m also doing some work around EPZ for jointers. I’ve seen the Mainpower document but would be interested in seeing other EDI’s concepts

You’ve seen our solution for OH Bill.

We (EEA SSPG) have received our engineering report for the ‘Work on De-Energised OH Lines Guide” and will be reviewing this week – hope to publish this to industry in the following few weeks.

With regards to underground we are currently reviewing the ‘Cables Guide” and are proposing to put some graphics in there to support the words. Connetics have a proceudre (with pictures) that aligns with the guide. (contact Pete Wilson)

    Regards

Hi Bill, we are going to be doing some work around updating our current work procedures once the new EEA Guide to work on de-energised lines is published – keen to touch base with you when we start this work.
