Our Emergency Preparedness manual states the following:

“Minimize use of tele-poles, Hiabs and EWPs if Lightning is approaching. Cease work until Lightning
has passed. Take shelter away from overhead conductors, tall structures, and trees.

We don’t have a set stand down period as it depends on the duration of the storm (longest one in last 5 years took 6 hours to transit our network).
