A New Chapter for the EEA: AGM Approves Key Changes
EEA Transitioning to the Electricity Industry Association
We are delighted to advise that at the AGM on 2 September, members voted to:
- change the association’s name to Electricity Industry Association of New Zealand Inc (EIA), and
- adopt all recommended improvements to our membership model and Constitution
These changes will make us a more modern, diverse and innovative organisation that is match-fit to lead our industry into the future.
While this decision marks the culmination of 18 months work and engagement, the rebranding process won’t happen overnight. Rest assured that we will provide you with good information about the sequencing of change over the coming weeks, and at the EEA Conference.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the vote and throughout the engagement process. We very much look forward to delivering these positive changes.
