On Friday 20 November, the Electricity Engineers’ Association will become the Electricity Industry Association (EIA). This brings to life the changes announced at our AGM and September Conference, and marks the culmination of 18 months’ work.
Our new EIA website also launches that day. It will give members a much better experience, with one place to manage your membership, register for events and find technical resources. What this means for members:
- New login: You’ll need to log in to the new website for the first time. It only takes a couple of minutes, and we’ll send instructions the week before
- Emails from the EIA: Please add admin@eia.nz to your safe senders’ list so our emails don’t end up in your junk or spam folder
- EEA email addresses: You’ll still be able to email EEA addresses for at least 6 months while we move to the new name
- Your membership: Your membership, access and contact details will carry over to the new system automatically. You don’t need to renew anything
We will be in touch on 9 November with login details and what to expect on the day. If you have any questions before then, please get in touch with us.
Ngā mihi,
Nicki Sutherland
Chief Executive
