    <div>Hi all</div>

Keen to understand the configuration of the harnesses you use within your business.

Do you have double side Ds like those in the attached photo? Or a different setup.

This question relates to the proposed changes in AS/NZS 1891.4

    Thanks

I’m curious to know how you’re approaching the likely change to 2 connections in restraint, what are you thinking?

Depends on the outcome of the std change and whether the backup system can use the same Ds, if not then using the double D’d harness is one option and the one we would probably go with.

We currently use a D shackle as well as a ring.

    Hi Team,

We are still using the D each side harnesses, no specific model as some prefer heavier or lighter harnesses depending on their work, so long as it meets the standard then we aren’t too picky on uniformity. We are looking at trialing the double strap (see link) so it removes the “do I or don’t I” from the equation but currently a mixture of grillon or flat strap options depending on the individual. If there is a change to the requirements we will change with them. https://safeworx.co.nz/products/linq-2-5m-twin-rope-pole-strap
