Yotsugi Sleeves

    Morning all,

We have had 5 pairs of Yotsugi brand Class 4 sleeves fail testing all within a year of purchase. It appears the red rubber on the inside of the sleeve is perishing and breaking down really fast.

Has anyone else had a similar thing occur, especially with this brand?

    Cheers,

    Jon.

We dont have that brand of sleeve or gloves. But we are having a lot of failures during pre-checks on Class 1 gloves. stretchy and brittle areas around the cuff and they are tearing. Have you seen that?

Hi Mark, we seem to do pretty well with gloves its just these particular sleeves.

Perishing from what? Can you post a photo?

Hi Bill, the rubber deterioration in the first photo is not the fail point on these sleeves, its next to the hole. The second photo shows the rubber splitting apart with very little pressure applied. This red rubber is on the inside of the sleeve so its not sun damage, not that these Class 4 sleeves have been out a lot in the last year anyway.
