Please introduce yourself in one sentence
I am a social young professional who loves connecting and breaking bread with people while focusing on personal growth and continuous incremental improvements.
What inspired you to study electrical engineering?
It is where I believed I could make the most impact in the community. Commodities make the world work and the electrical world is key to all of our livelihoods, especially in our current era.
What would you consider as your key achievements to date?
Connecting with people outside of university in the real world to discuss real problems and understand the kind of issues that people are facing out there. From the financial and economic side to the engineering side while also trying to grasp the human aspect of all the issues we face as a whole society.
What role do you want to play in the future of the electricity industry?
I want to build relationships and be a bridge between people. I love making and creating connections between people, especially when it involves putting our heads together to solve problems. I am but one man and as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child.
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to students?
Don’t be afraid to tap your classmates on the shoulder and have a conversation. Speak to each other, work together and connect with others. This simple act changes everything.
