Changes from 2016 Version (Issue 6) to 2025 Version (Issue 7)

This guide, now redesigned as a reference for industry, directs users to information about Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS).  While the EEA is not the authority on PFAS, some industry-specific requirements are outlined in the SM-EI.  Updates from ASNZS 1891:4 have been added and will also appear in SM-EI.

The guide’s title has changed from “Guide to the use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems” to “Reference Guide for the Use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems used in the Electricity Industry (2025)” to reflect these updates.
